EURO FINANCE Tech Day
The EURO FINANCE Tech Day is the technology day of the Euro Finance Week in Frankfurt am Main. Its organizer, the dfv Euro Finance Group, calls it the meeting point for decision-makers in banking, finance and technology within the week, and its ticket site describes it as the week's innovation hub, with more than a decade of conferences on the digital transformation of finance. The next Tech Day takes place on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at the Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof under the title "From Artificial to Autonomous Finance | Shaping Europe's Intelligent Financial Future".
Topics of the 2026 Tech Day
The organizer names three topics: agentic AI and financial stability, the return on AI spending, and European investment in cloud, data, AI and quantum infrastructure. The program opens with Deutsche Bundesbank board member Michael Theurer and Hesse's state secretary for digitalization, followed by impulses from Aleph Alpha and IBM. In the Future Talks, lemon.markets and dwpbank argue that autonomous finance makes the mainframe obsolete, AWS speaks on sovereign cloud and LBBW asks whether Europe is ready for agentic AI in banking.
Five parallel deep dives follow, on the AI stack, on technological sovereignty with hybrid tech stacks, on managing the risks of AI agents, on moving a portfolio of 2,000 applications to AI and on data quality. The afternoon panels cover Europe's digital infrastructure with Schwarz Digits, Deutsche Börse and Terra Quantum, AI and the future of payments with BNP Paribas and DZ BANK, and the return on AI with BayernLB and HSBC Germany. The partners shape parts of the day. TechQuartier holds a Female Finance Lunch by invitation, hosted by the dfv Euro Finance Group and the chairwoman of GM, FFM!. Frankfurt Main Finance runs the closing reception with a fintech talk, and Frankfurt Forward presents its Startup of the Year award in the evening.
Web3 and DeFi at the Tech Day
The Tech Day has given decentralized finance a stage before. In 2024 the dfv Euro Finance Group ran it together with GM, FFM! and announced it in a press release as the first joint web3 conference in Frankfurt, under the motto "Connecting the Worlds". The 2025 edition carried "AI, Web3 & Qubits" in its title and held a panel on who uses decentralized finance, in cooperation with GM, FFM!. DeFi in Frankfurt describes the scene behind it.
Registration
Members of the core audience can request a free ticket on the ticket site: CIOs from finance, banking and industry, chief digital officers, heads of innovation and of AI, founders and chief executives of fintechs, venture capital and private equity investors, and people from academia, finance and politics. The organizer confirms a request after checking it. Everyone else pays 690 euros plus VAT, with an optional night at the Frankfurter Hof at a preferential rate.
