Product Launch Event for Fintechs
A product launch event presents a new product to the people who should buy, use or write about it, usually with a demo, a first customer and a reception. For a fintech selling to banks the product might be a stablecoin payment rail, a tokenization platform or an AI agent for compliance, and the launch has to fit two calendars: the sales cycle of banks and the date of the license or white paper. Dated events are in the calendar below.
Launch after the license
A regulated product can be offered to customers only once the firm holds the permission for it. A firm that needs a BaFin license or an e-money license launches the product after the license is granted; before that, it can present the technology and the plan. For crypto-assets, Article 7 of MiCA forbids marketing before the white paper is published where one is required, and every communication must carry the statement that no authority has approved it. Crypto marketing lists the rules.
How to plan a B2B product launch event
Pick the date around a conference that already brings the buyers to the city. In Frankfurt the Crypto Assets Conference, Frankfurt Digital Finance and the AI Week Frankfurt do this every year, and Sibos did in 2025. An evening launch the day before or after a conference reaches guests who would not travel for a launch alone. Put a customer or pilot bank on stage, because bank buyers ask first who already uses the product. Keep the demo short and live, and give press and analysts a separate slot with time for questions.
Plan what follows the evening: a recording, a summary article, a webinar for those who could not come and follow-up meetings with the banks that asked for one. A launch that runs in several cities can follow as a roadshow.
What a host gets with Finance Loop
A hosted event runs in the host's own branding, with format and speakers chosen by the host. Finance Loop provides venue, staff, ticket checks and technology for about 100 to 150 professionals over two to three hours and can help invite the right audience. Options for a launch include a stage platform, a photographer, video recording and live broadcasting to the internet. For a launch in several cities, Finance Loop runs roadshows across Germany and Europe for 50 to 150 guests per stop. Hosted events start at EUR 7,000 net.

Product launches with Finance Loop
A smaller launch fits a sponsored meetup with a presentation slot of up to 20 minutes, or a sponsored webinar with a live demo.
What is a product launch event?
A product launch event is an event at which a company presents a new product for the first time to customers, partners and press. In B2B it is usually an evening with a presentation, a demo and a reception.
Can a fintech launch before its license?
It can present its technology and plans, but it may not offer the regulated service before the license is granted. A crypto-asset offer may not be marketed before its white paper is published, where MiCA requires one.
Which product launch event ideas work for banks?
A pilot bank presenting its own results, a live demo on real test data, a lawyer explaining the rules that apply, and a side event timed to a conference the guests attend anyway.
