Simply Staking

Simply Staking is a staking provider from Malta that runs validators and nodes for more than 20 proof-of-stake networks on its own servers. Customers keep their tokens in their own wallets and delegate them to the validators of Simply Staking, which run in a self-managed Tier 3 data center in Malta with backup sites elsewhere.

Simply Staking appears among the oracles of Chainlink under its former name Simply VC and reports prices such as ETH/USD and BTC/USD on Ethereum. In August 2026 the company renamed itself Simply Labs, and Simply Staking is now one of its four products next to Spectrum Nodes, Pegasus and SimplyLedger.

Non-custodial staking from Malta

Simply Staking runs its validators in a self-managed Tier 3 data center in Malta and uses no third-party cloud providers, with backup sites outside the island. Next to staking the company offers smart contract audits and blockchain consulting, and Simply Labs gives the total value staked with the group as more than one billion dollars.

Non-custodial means that the private keys stay with the customer, who delegates tokens to a validator and keeps the right to undelegate under the rules of each network. Funds and banks that use institutional staking check the slashing rules, lockup periods and uptime record of a validator before they delegate.

Simply Staking and Chainlink

Under the name Simply VC the company reports the ETH/USD price on Ethereum as one of 31 oracles of that Chainlink data feed. In October 2026 Simply VC also answered on the BTC/USD, LINK/USD and EUR/USD feeds on Ethereum, on ETH/USD on Polygon and Arbitrum and on BNB/USD on BNB Chain.

Simply VC also built PANIC, an open-source monitoring and alerting tool for Cosmos SDK, Substrate and Chainlink nodes, with support from a Chainlink community grant. PANIC watches the metrics of a node and the onchain contracts of an operator and sends alerts by phone call, Telegram, Slack, email or PagerDuty.

How LINK staking works with Simply Staking

Simply Staking publishes a LINK staking guide for native staking in Chainlink Staking v0.2 and for liquid staking through stake.link, the protocol of LinkPool. In Staking v0.2 token holders stake into a community pool on Ethereum, while node operators that serve Chainlink Data Feeds stake their own LINK in a separate operator pool and can lose part of it when they fail to perform.

Withdrawing LINK from v0.2 takes a cooldown of about 28 days, followed by a claim window in which the holder must withdraw the tokens. Liquid staking through stake.link gives the holder a receipt token instead, which can be traded while the underlying LINK stays staked.

From Simply VC to Simply Labs

The company started as Simply VC and later traded as Simply Staking. On August 24, 2026 it renamed itself Simply Labs, with Isaac Zarb as chief executive and four products: Simply Staking for institutional staking, Spectrum Nodes for RPC access to more than 200 networks, Pegasus for cross-chain liquidity and SimplyLedger for crypto accounting.

Simply Labs states that it holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation and runs its own hardware in-house. Among its case studies are the price oracle for the IST stablecoin of Agoric and the sequencer for the Fuel network.
