Modular core banking from Estonia
Five Estonian banking technology specialists founded Tuum and built a modular core banking platform that is API-first, cloud-agnostic and configurable without code (Tuum). Its clients range from large multinational banks to fintechs and small firms. Tuum has offices in London, Barcelona, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
AI and legacy migration
Tuum calls its product "the most AI-capable core banking platform on the market" and says it connects to any agentic system or LLM. Its Tuum AI tool reads a bank's legacy systems and lists dependencies and undocumented rules before the move to a new core (Tuum). Legacy modernization in banking covers the replacement of old core systems.
Customers in Europe
The Finnish OP Financial Group rebuilt its unsecured consumer lending on Tuum's cloud-native core; the project became a Celent Model Bank case study for core transformation in 2024 (Tuum). Tuum's other European customers include the Estonian bank LHV, Multitude, CrediNord for business lending and Januar, which serves crypto businesses (Tuum). Banking as a service in Germany covers the same model in the German market.
