Fincite
Fincite is a Frankfurt software company that builds fincite cios, a modular platform for banks and wealth managers that covers investment advice from client onboarding to reporting. Advisors use the software to profile clients, build and optimize portfolios, place orders and produce the documents that MiFID II requires for advice and portfolio management.
Fincite was founded in 2015 and has been part of the French wealthtech group Harvest since 2025, while keeping its own brand, team and office. Its clients include private banks, universal banks, savings banks, family offices, financial advisors and broker pools, and more than 9,000 wealth managers work with the software.
The CIOS wealth management software
Fincite builds wealthtech software as a set of modules that a bank can start with one at a time: onboarding, advice, ordering and reporting, on a common base for data, channels and administration. The data layer pulls in market data, connects to custodian banks and reads portfolios held elsewhere, and clients reach the system through an advisor login, a client login and a mobile app.
The reporting module aggregates internal and external portfolios with breakdowns, performance against benchmarks, risk analysis and ad hoc regulatory reports. An extension store and an AI feature called CIOS AI add further functions to the core platform.
Digital onboarding and MiFID II advice
The onboarding module takes a new client through investor profiling under the German Securities Trading Act, KYC checks and identification, and Fincite says a client can be fully on board in seven minutes. Clients can do this alone, with an advisor or in a hybrid process, as private persons and as companies.
In the advice module, advisors set investment goals with the client, run Monte Carlo simulations and historical stress tests and present a wealth forecast. The advice and discretionary portfolio management processes follow MiFID II including the documents, and Fincite reports that advisors raise their assets under management by 17 percent on average.
Clients: private banks, savings banks and advisors
Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe, Berenberg, the broker pool BCA and ABN AMRO Private Banking work with Fincite, and ABN AMRO Private Banking developed its digital product Alfred together with the company. Lars Busch of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe described the software as "More Apple than Photoshop", and Hauke Ole Hansen of Berenberg said advisors can now adjust portfolios during client meetings.
Fincite counts more than 40 clients, more than 20 partners and more than 15,000 users of its software.

Sale to Harvest Group
In May 2025 the founders of Fincite sold the company to Harvest, a French software group for wealth and asset management backed by the private equity firms TA Associates and Montagu. Harvest has more than 4,600 corporate clients and runs the brands Harvest France, Quantalys, Manymore and Feefty.
According to the announcement of the merger, both brands keep their teams and offices, and Harvest plans to use fincite cios as a core part of its offer in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Benelux countries. The group aims to double its revenue within four years through growth and acquisitions, with Virginie Fauvel as chief executive of Harvest.
Founders and management
Ralf Heim, Friedhelm Schmitt and Stefan Post founded Fincite in 2015. Friedhelm Schmitt is co-founder and chief executive, Stefan Post is co-founder and CIO, and the management team also includes Paul Kammerer as chief revenue officer and Thuwagaran Nithiananthan as chief operating officer.
Ralf Heim, co-CEO of Fincite at the time of the merger, was to join the board of Harvest Group according to the 2025 announcement.
