Senacor
Senacor Technologies is an IT consultancy that plans, builds and runs software for banks, insurers and other large companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Its teams cover the whole path from business strategy and solution design to software development and the management of large transformation programs.
Senacor has worked for clients since 1999 and now employs more than 1,000 people in ten offices, from Nuremberg, Frankfurt and Munich to Vienna and Zurich, with its registered seat in Eschborn. Banks bring in Senacor for payments, cards, lending and regulatory reporting, while insurers use it to move old core systems to the cloud.
Consulting and software for banks
In banking, Senacor builds digital banking solutions for 8 of the 11 largest German banks. Its banking teams work in fourteen areas, among them payments and cards, retail and commercial lending, securities operations, treasury, risk controlling and regulatory reporting.
One long-running mandate is EKS-Net, the platform of EURO Kartensysteme where German banks report fraud cases with girocard debit cards, which Senacor modernized and runs as service partner. For Verification of Payee, the name check that euro transfers need since 9 October 2025, the provider euro-V chose Senacor as its development partner.
Digital euro and payments
The subsidiary Senacor FCS works on the infrastructure of the digital euro. In October 2025 the European Central Bank picked its providers for the digital euro components and ranked Senacor FCS first for the secure exchange of payment information, ahead of equensWorldline.
Senacor also advises banks on fraud prevention in instant payments and builds checks that score a single transaction in less than 500 milliseconds.
Projects for insurers
Senacor has worked in the insurance sector for more than 20 years and with nearly every insurer in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Typical projects move old core systems from the mainframe to the cloud and prepare insurers for FIDA, the planned EU regulation on access to financial data.
Together with Versicherungsforen Leipzig and the firm legal-i, Senacor launched a fully digital industry solution for risk pre-inquiries in disability insurance in 2025, with AI-based analysis of documents. According to Senacor, the solution cuts the work of insurers on these inquiries by more than 50 percent.

Management board and supervisory board
Senacor Technologies AG is a stock corporation whose management board has two members, Tobias Jünemann and Andreas Werner. Matthias Tomann chairs the supervisory board, and the company is registered at the Frankfurt am Main local court under HRB 110482.
The wider management team includes the managing directors Ralph Riemann and Tobias Hödtke, the chief technology officer David Schmitz and the finance director Roman Greißinger.
Seat in Eschborn and offices
The registered seat of Senacor Technologies AG is at Düsseldorfer Straße 13 in 65760 Eschborn, a town that borders Frankfurt to the northwest. Senacor runs offices in Berlin, Bonn, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich, plus one additional project site.
Finanteq and the step abroad
In October 2023 Senacor bought the Polish software company Finanteq, which builds mobile banking apps for banks in Poland and the Middle East and had 140 staff at the time. The long-term clients of Finanteq include BNP Paribas, Santander, National Bank of Kuwait and mBank.
Andreas Werner called the purchase "a strong impulse to grow internationally" for Senacor. Earlier in 2023 Senacor had completed the full takeover of e&Co. Consulting, and for that year the company expected annual sales of about 250 million euros.
Clients and cloud partners
About 30 of the largest companies in Germany and Austria are clients of Senacor, and 80 percent of its business comes from clients who have worked with the company for more than three years. Beside banks and insurers, Senacor works for carmakers, logistics groups and energy companies.
Senacor is a Google Cloud partner with the Application Development Services specialization and received the New Partner Award 2025 of the French cloud provider OVHcloud. Its cloud teams have also run test projects with the European providers Open Telekom Cloud and IONOS Cloud.
Senacor and Finance Loop
Banks and insurers in the Finance Loop network work on the questions that Senacor handles for its clients, such as moving core systems to the cloud under DORA and connecting to the digital euro. Finance Loop brings people from these institutions together at its events on payments and digital infrastructure.
