Signal Week

Signal Week is a two-day conference in Paris where banks, asset managers and market infrastructure meet the digital asset industry and its regulators. It is the event that ran for seven editions as Paris Blockchain Week. Signal Week 2027 takes place on July 6 and 7, 2027 at the Palais des Congres de Paris.

What Signal Week is

If you work on digital assets inside a regulated institution, this is the Paris date that puts your counterparties in one building. The organizers describe the conference under the line "The Bridge Between TradFi & Digital Assets" and sort their speaker list into eight groups: exchanges and trading platforms, banks and traditional finance, asset managers and investment firms, market infrastructure, digital asset protocols and foundations, digital asset native and decentralized finance, venture capital and investors, and government and regulators. That order says what the program is built around, and the first four groups are the classic finance side of it.

The subjects follow from the audience. The organizers name regulatory frameworks, institutional custody, cross-border settlement and market structure as the questions the last edition worked on, and they put on-chain infrastructure, institutional adoption of digital assets, AI in financial systems, policy and capital allocation on the agenda for the next one.

Who organizes Signal Week

Hyve Group Limited, a B2B event organizer registered at 2 Kingdom Street in London, bought the conference in July 2026, together with the RAISE Summit and the Machina Summit. Hyve calls Signal Week "Europe's flagship blockchain and crypto event" and counts more than 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries, 320 speakers and 70 percent C-suite for the 2026 edition.

Before the sale the conference was run by Chain of Events, the Paris organizer that started it in 2019. Michael Amar, Charlie Meraud, Henri Delahaye and Hadrien de Cournon founded it; Amar stayed on as chairman of Signal Week and the RAISE Summit after the acquisition.

Signal Week and Fintech Meetup

Signal Week 2027 runs together with Fintech Meetup Europe, which Hyve also owns. The two organizations announced the step with the sentence "Traditional finance and digital assets are no longer separate conversations", quoted by Fintech Meetup president Louisa Hunter and Signal Week co-founder Charlie Meraud. Fintech Meetup brings its double-opt-in meeting program to Paris, and its US edition in Las Vegas adds a Digital Assets Summit.

When is Signal Week 2027?

Signal Week 2027 takes place on July 6 and 7, 2027 at the Palais des Congres de Paris, 2 Place de la Porte Maillot, 75017 Paris, according to signalweek.com and the banner on the old Paris Blockchain Week site. The month moves: the editions under the Paris Blockchain Week name met in spring, the 2026 one on April 15 and 16, and the first Signal Week sits in July.

Is Signal Week the same event as Paris Blockchain Week?

Yes, it is the same conference under a new name, and the organizer rejects the word rebrand for it. The Signal Week ethos page states: "For seven years, Paris Blockchain Week brought together the people building, funding, and steering the digital asset ecosystem. That world has evolved, and so have we. Signal Week is what comes next. Signal Week is not a rebrand of Paris Blockchain Week: it is an elevation." The old site puts it plainly in its headline, "Paris Blockchain Week Is Now Signal Week", and then: "That room is now Signal Week, carrying the same vision forward: bridging traditional finance and digital assets." The full history is on the Paris Blockchain Week page.

Where does Signal Week take place?

At the Palais des Congres de Paris at Porte Maillot in the 17th arrondissement, a congress center with far more floor space than the Carrousel du Louvre, where the Paris Blockchain Week editions met. The VIP dinner of the 2026 edition was held at the Chateau de Versailles, and the Versailles image still runs on the Signal Week homepage.

How does Signal Week compare with the German conferences?

Signal Week is the largest digital asset conference in continental Europe by attendance and covers the whole field over two days in Paris. The Crypto Assets Conference in Frankfurt works through digital assets in capital markets in one day with a German and European supervisory focus, Frankfurt Digital Finance covers the digital change of the financial industry over two days, and the Digital Euro Conference stays on central bank money and stablecoins. Many of the same banks and asset managers send people to all of them.

Signal Week and Finance Loop

Finance Loop works on the same questions in the German-speaking market that Signal Week puts on its Paris stage: what supervisors accept, how custody and settlement are built, and which of it a bank can run. Finance Loop members who go to Paris meet the German, Austrian and Swiss side of that room at Finance Loop events through the rest of the year.

Finance Loop is a professional network and has the goal of driving the adoption of emerging technologies in finance, such as AI, tokenization, stablecoins, and DeFi. Finance Loop helps its members build skills and personal networks in these fields: Investment & Digital Assets, Payments & Digital Money, Digital Infrastructure & Sovereignty, and Risk & Compliance.
