Registers for tokenized bonds and funds
Cashlink is a regulated financial institution with BaFin licenses for crypto securities registration and qualified crypto custody. Issuers use its platform for token-based bonds and tokenized funds under the eWpG, and Cashlink offers the securities to investors through custodian banks. Cashlink records them on selected DLT networks. Cashlink received its custody license in addition to the registrar license, Ledger Insights reported.
Settlement with stablecoins and central bank money
Cashlink supports delivery versus payment with stablecoins that comply with MiCAR, and central bank money through Pontes, the Eurosystem's link between DLT platforms and its TARGET payment system. Cashlink kept the register for the NRW.BANK bond on Polygon, which DZ BANK co-led.
21X, the Frankfurt DLT trading venue, partnered with Cashlink on tokenized securities in Germany, Post Trade 360 reported.
