Crypto in Frankfurt

Frankfurt is the seat of the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank and Deutsche Börse Group, and BaFin supervises crypto asset service providers from its Frankfurt office. Crypto Finance (Deutschland), a Deutsche Börse Group company, launched a staking service for Ethereum and Solana on October 15, 2025. Deutsche Bank published the DAMA 2 litepaper on June 18, 2025.

Most crypto conferences in Frankfurt are built for people from banks, asset managers, exchanges and their supervisors. Their programs cover tokenization, custody, stablecoins and MiCA compliance. Evening formats such as crypto meetups and blockchain meetups bring founders and developers into the same rooms, often at TechQuartier near the financial district.

Finance Loop is the meeting place for people in Frankfurt who work on crypto, bitcoin and digital assets at banks, fintechs and investment firms. It connects the finance, IT and AI communities and is built in collaboration with TechQuartier.

The Crypto Assets Conference (CAC) is the crypto conference of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Deutsche Börse Group, held on the Frankfurt School campus. It is for decision-makers from the German and European financial industry and for people from supervisory authorities and politics. The program covers digital assets, tokenization, market infrastructure and regulation.

CAC 2026 on March 25, 2026, expected around 550 guests on site and more than 3,000 online, with over 100 speakers on two stages. Finance Loop was partner of CAC 2026 and sponsor of CAC 2025.

The Digital Euro Conference (DEC) is the conference of the Digital Euro Association, a Frankfurt think tank for central bank digital currencies, stablecoins and other digital money. It deals with the design, rollout and effects of a digital euro. Speakers come from central banks, commercial banks, fintechs and public institutions.

DEC 2026 took place on March 26, 2026, the day after CAC 2026. Finance Loop was partner and is a strategic partner of the Digital Euro Association.

The Crypto Assets Conference at Frankfurt School and the Digital Euro Conference take place in Frankfurt every spring, in 2026 on two days in a row. Frankfurt Digital Finance is a two-day conference at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten. Current dates are in the events calendar.
