Market study 2026
The ninth edition of the Swiss Sustainable Investment Market Study, published on June 9, 2026, counts CHF 1,940 billion in sustainability-related investments in Switzerland, 3 percent more than a year earlier. Of these, CHF 870 billion sit in funds and CHF 735 billion in mandates. 64 percent of the fund assets and 27 percent of the mandate assets are marketed as sustainable.
The study also asked about AI: the share of asset managers that use no AI in sustainable investing fell from 19 percent to 4 percent. SSF has published a paper on how AI in asset management can support sustainable investment decisions.
