Crypto Valley Association
The Crypto Valley Association (CVA) is an independent nonprofit association for the blockchain and crypto sector, based in Zug, Switzerland. It was founded in 2017 and became a professional association in 2018. Firms and individuals from the blockchain sector can join, and the CVA calls itself Switzerland's leading blockchain and crypto ecosystem.
The CVA has working groups, holds events such as the Crypto Valley Conference and the Web3 Banking Symposium, and promotes firms from the region under the label Made in Crypto Valley. Jérôme Bailly is president of the board, and Nikoletta Csanyi is executive director.
Board and team
The members elect the eight board members each year. The board consists of Jérôme Bailly as president, Emi Lorincz as vice president for international growth, Ilya Volkov as vice president for strategy, and Maxim Kon, Marcel Harmann, Benedek Orban, Paolo Bortolin and Sheraz Ahmed. Nikoletta Csanyi leads the office in Zug as executive director.
Crypto Valley Conference and other events
The Crypto Valley Conference had more than 1,200 attendees in 2019 and was held again in 2021. The CVA also holds the Web3 Banking Symposium and lists further events of its members and partners on its website.
Zug's crypto banks, token firms and foundations form the Crypto Valley, the ecosystem the association is named after.

Is the Crypto Valley Association the same as Crypto Valley?
No. Crypto Valley is the name of the Swiss crypto and blockchain ecosystem around Zug. The Crypto Valley Association is one organization within it that uses the name. The Swiss Blockchain Federation and the Bitcoin Association Switzerland are separate associations.
Crypto Valley Association and Finance Loop
