Finfluencer Circle: the finance influencer network in Germany
Finfluencer Circle is a network of finance experts and influencers who share what they know about investing, trading and money on social media, in video talks and in podcasts. Birgit Hass founded it, and it has many members who work for financial institutions or hold leading positions in finance.
Finfluencer Circle, whose network partners include Finance Loop, meets in person at partner venues in the Frankfurt region. Finfluencer Circle runs its own LinkedIn and WhatsApp groups.
What a finfluencer is
A finfluencer is someone who talks about money on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn, for example which ETF to buy or whether bitcoin is worth a look. The word is a mix of "finance" and "influencer". Many younger people in Germany now learn about money this way: in a BaFin survey of investors aged 18 to 45, more than half had already picked up money tips from finfluencers.
Some finfluencers are paid by banks, brokers or crypto platforms for what they recommend, and many followers do not know it. In the same survey, 37 percent had no idea. A paid post therefore has to say that it is advertising. If a post does not say who paid for it, that is worth a second look before you put money in.
Finfluencer Circle Award
Finfluencer Circle presents the Finfluencer Circle Award to people who explain money and investing on social media. For its third edition, the award has five categories for the first time: Investment, Financial Education, Female Finance, M&A and Finance Book. Finfluencer Circle presented the 16 nominees on September 26, 2026, on the community stage of the Finance26 fair at Messe Frankfurt. The winners are named at the award ceremony in the Villa Sander in Frankfurt.
In May 2026 Finfluencer Circle presented a real estate edition of the award at the P5 Kongress in Frankfurt, where a jury that included Birgit Hass chose Sarah Aldag for first place.

Finfluencer Circle and Finance Loop
Finance Loop is a network partner of Finfluencer Circle and lists Finfluencer Circle among its event and network partners. Finfluencer Circle brings together people who explain investing and money on social media. Both networks hold their events in the Frankfurt region.
Finance Loop is a professional network and has the goal of driving the adoption of emerging technologies in finance, such as AI, tokenization, stablecoins, and DeFi. Finance Loop helps its members build skills and personal networks in these fields: Investment & Digital Assets, Payments & Digital Money, and Risk & Compliance. A finfluencer who writes about these topics meets the people who work on them at Finance Loop events.
