tokenforge
tokenforge is a Hamburg software company whose white-label platform TokenSuite lets banks, asset managers and issuers create, issue and manage tokenized securities. The platform covers the legal structure of a crypto security under the German Electronic Securities Act, the onboarding of investors and the administration of the tokens over their term.
Moritz Stumpf and Markus Kluge founded tokenforge GmbH in 2021, and they lead the company as CEO and CPO. By its own count tokenforge has worked on more than 50 projects in five countries, and in April 2023 it was one of the seven founding members of the Bundesverband für elektronische Wertpapiere.
TokenSuite, the white-label platform
TokenSuite runs under the brand of the client, so a bank or an issuance platform can offer tokenized securities to its own customers without building the blockchain layer itself. The platform handles token creation, investor registration with identity checks, subscriptions, transfers and payouts, and it connects to the register of a licensed crypto securities registrar.
tokenforge holds an ISO 27001 certificate for its information security management. In 2024 tokenforge launched EasyRaise, a white-label solution for investor onboarding, together with NYALA Digital Asset and the custodian Tangany.
Tokenized bonds from real estate to hotels
In 2022 tokenforge issued what it describes as the first security under the eWpG, a year after the law took effect. Since then the platform has carried bonds for tokenized real estate, such as the eWpG bond of BERLIN LIVING AG and the COBU bond that financed the Getrag Quartier in Ludwigsburg.
The Lindner Hotel Group used tokenforge for its Lindner Digital Hotel Bond, and Cometum ran a tokenized pre-IPO round on the platform. Issuers who plan a tokenized bond of their own find the steps under issuing tokenized securities in Germany.
Partners from banking and brokerage
tokenforge names Aquila, My House AG, flatex, Donner & Reuschel, EOS, the Lindner Hotel Group and Chartered Investment in its network. Donner & Reuschel is a private bank in Hamburg, and flatex is the online broker of the flatexDEGIRO group.
Chartered Investment is also the parent company of the Düsseldorf registrar e-Sec, which keeps crypto securities registers under the eWpG.

The TKFG token and its MiCAR white paper
tokenforge has issued TKFG, a utility token for its own platform, and it published a crypto-asset white paper for the token under MiCAR. A utility token under MiCAR gives access to a good or service of the issuer, and it is neither an e-money token nor an asset-referenced token.
The white paper is the disclosure document that the MiCA regulation requires before a crypto asset is offered to the public in the EU. Investors should read it before they buy, because it names the issuer, the rights attached to the token and its risks.
tokenforge in the BVeW
tokenforge was one of the seven founding members of the Bundesverband für elektronische Wertpapiere in April 2023. The association adopted a technical standard for token-based crypto securities in September 2023, so that the same systems can read and trade tokens from different registers.
Other members and partners of the association include the consultancy FinPlanet, the registrar e-Sec and the fund software maker xpecto.
tokenforge and Finance Loop
Banks, issuers and asset managers in the Finance Loop network weigh whether to build their own tokenization stack or license a white-label platform. Finance Loop brings their product, legal and operations teams together with platform providers and registrars, so they can compare costs, timelines and issues that have already gone through the eWpG process.
Finance Loop is a professional network and has the goal of driving the institutional use of emerging technologies in finance, such as AI, tokenization, stablecoins, and DeFi. Finance Loop helps its members build skills and personal networks in these fields: Investment & Digital Assets, Payments & Digital Money, Digital Infrastructure & Sovereignty, and Risk & Compliance.
