YARD Events
YARD is a platform that collects business event information, keeps it up to date and distributes it to other services. It connects organizations that publish events with people and businesses looking for relevant professional activities. The platform gives these groups a common source of event information instead of requiring each service to assemble its own records.
YARD supplies event data for integration into websites and for notifications about relevant activities. Its tools also include profiles for finding, verifying and following people or organizations. These functions help users discover professional connections and let publishers reach audiences through services that use the platform's shared information.
What YARD offers
YARD helps users find business events that match their interests. YARD wants to give users more choice, help event providers reach new audiences, and let partners grow through data-driven discovery and simple integration. The platform is in beta, developed in Europe with user privacy as a design goal.
The products, free and paid, are these. The YARD Calendar streams events in real time onto any website, set up with one line of code. YARD Calendar Spotlight and YARD Calendar Ads put a brand or an event in front of the calendar's readers. YARD Event Push puts one event at the top, and YARD Event Alerts notify users about new events. YARD Cards are profiles for finding, verifying and following people and organizations. Anyone can add a missing business event.
Michael Wutzke and Luca Caspari created YARD, with support from Jochen Biedermann and Michael Wellenbeck. Michael Wutzke is the initiator and a managing partner of Finance Loop (Michael Wutzke).
Finding finance and fintech events: the field YARD works in
Finance has more events than any single calendar lists: bank conferences, fintech meetups, blockchain summits and side events around large fairs. In Frankfurt alone, conferences such as the Crypto Assets Conference and the Digital Euro Conference draw side events in the days around them. YARD tags events by topic, region and occasion, so one filter shows, for example, all events during Sibos 2025 in Frankfurt, or all blockchain events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
For a professional network this solves a practical problem. A member who wants to meet people working on payments in Frankfurt or crypto in Germany finds the right evening in one list and does not have to check dozens of organizer sites.
YARD and Finance Loop
Finance Loop embeds a YARD Calendar on its events calendar page. The calendar lists fintech, finance and blockchain events in Frankfurt that other organizers run, next to Finance Loop's own events, and links the YARD Event Explorer for other topics and regions. The landing pages of finance-loop.net carry YARD calendars filtered by city and topic as well.
YARD was also among the supporters of TechClub 25/3, the fintech and blockchain party Finance Loop held with TechQuartier in Frankfurt on 25 March 2025. YARD is an event and network partner of Finance Loop.
Where can I find fintech events in Frankfurt?
The Frankfurt events calendar on finance-loop.net lists fintech, finance and blockchain events in the city, provided by YARD. Finance Loop's own meetups and conferences are on the events page, and the page on fintech in Frankfurt names the conferences and hubs in the city.
How do I add an event calendar widget to my website?
The YARD Calendar is a widget for websites. The YARD Calendar is published with one line of code, and the owner can set its topics, regions and look. The events in it update automatically as organizers add or change them on YARD.
Are there blockchain events in Germany?
Yes, many. The YARD Event Explorer filters blockchain events by country, and the Finance Loop pages on crypto in Frankfurt, crypto in Berlin and fintech in Munich list the regular conferences and meetups in each city.
