GM, FFM!
GM, FFM! e.V. is a registered nonprofit association in Frankfurt am Main. GM, FFM! promotes web3 technologies and decentralization in the Rhine-Main region as the Frankfurt Web3 Community. Web3 includes applications that use shared digital records, such as blockchains, to organize transactions and participation.
Under its statutes the association builds and looks after a web3 community through regular educational events. The events are meant to make digital innovation more visible and better understood and to carry knowledge and technology transfer into the regional economy. The community brings developers and founders together to exchange technical knowledge.
Community events
GM, FFM! numbers its own topic events. The kickoff on 20 January 2023 brought web3 enthusiasts, developers and founders together. Event #2 on 12 April 2023, "Gaming & Metaverse", was a beginner workshop on blockchain and cryptocurrency basics. Event #3 on 22 February 2024, "Artificial Intelligence & Web3", introduced tokenization. Event #5 on 15 May 2025 was on staking and how it shapes governance, tokenomics and behavior in web3; staking providers in Europe lists who offers it.
The association also runs events with others. On 23 August 2024 it held an evening on the Solana ecosystem with Solana Superteam Germany (Solana in Germany). On 12 February 2025 it hosted a Female Finance Night for women in finance and blockchain together with the dfv (women in finance in Frankfurt).
At the Euro Finance Week
GM, FFM! has taken part in the Euro Finance Week every year since 2023. In 2023 GM, FFM! organized a pitch event for web3 startups from the Frankfurt area as a partner of the week. In 2024 the dfv Euro Finance Group and GM, FFM! ran the Tech Day as the first joint web3 conference in Frankfurt (press release). In 2025 GM, FFM! brought the panel "DeFi for the People" to the Tech Day, on who actually uses decentralized finance, and the day's Female Finance Lunch ran in cooperation with GM, FFM!.
For 2026 GM, FFM! is a networking partner of the EURO FINANCE Tech Day on 18 November 2026 and a network and media partner of the 29th Euro Finance Week. The chairwoman of GM, FFM! co-hosts the Female Finance Lunch on the Tech Day.
WhatsApp group and ecosystem map
GM, FFM! uses its WhatsApp group as its main channel for news, discussion and new event dates. GM, FFM! also has a Web3 Ecosystem Map of its network covering DeFi, NFTs and DAOs. Finance Loop describes the same scene on crypto in Frankfurt, the blockchain sector on blockchain in Frankfurt and decentralized finance on DeFi in Frankfurt. The Berlin counterpart is on web3 in Berlin.
