CV Summit
CV Summit is a two-day business conference in Zurich about digital assets and artificial intelligence in finance. The venture capital firm CV VC and its ecosystem business CV Labs organize the event and describe it as the largest institutional digital assets and AI conference in Switzerland. The program runs on three stages with workshops, next to an exhibition area of more than 1,000 square meters.
More than 3,000 people attend in person, among them executives of banks, asset and wealth managers, family offices, institutional investors and regulators. CV Summit 2026 took place on 29 and 30 September 2026 at the Kongresshaus Zurich. The organizers have announced CV Summit 2027, but they have not yet published its dates or opened ticket sales.
What CV Summit covers
The program of CV Summit 2026 in Zurich was organized in four tracks. Financial Infrastructure dealt with stablecoins, digital custody and the connections between financial market systems. Tokenization of Capital Markets covered tokenized securities and digital exchanges, and the same track also looked at institutional DeFi and trading infrastructure.
The track AI & the Intelligent Economy discussed AI in finance, autonomous systems and AI agents. Wealth & Asset Management asked how investment strategies adapt when banks and asset managers adopt these technologies. In its review of the 2026 edition, the organizer named AI agents and the infrastructure behind them as the main themes of the year.
Speakers, attendees and exhibition
CV Summit 2026 had about 200 speakers on three stages and in workshops. The organizer reports that more than 85 percent of attendees hold C-level, director or senior management roles, and that over 60 percent travel in from across Europe. All sessions are held in English, and CV Summit 2026 was not livestreamed, so every session had to be attended in person.
Speakers in 2026 included Christopher Perkins, Head of Franklin Crypto Investments at Franklin Templeton, and Manuel Klein, who leads market management for payments and digital currencies at Deutsche Bank. Alexander Thoma spoke as head of digital assets of PostFinance, while Mathias Imbach appeared as co-founder and group CEO of Sygnum. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman and CEO of DMCC, was on the program as well, and so was Frederik Gregaard, CEO of the Cardano Foundation.
Sponsor packages of the summit range from exhibition stands to VIP dinners. On the evening of the second day of CV Summit 2026, ticket holders boarded the Panta Rhei for an evening of networking on Lake Zurich.
